What happens next?! Introducing the new chapter in my blog.

Our lives are made up of countless stories. Some are filled with drama, others with laughter. One story might be shared when we need a dose of inspiration, while another serves to remind us of an important life lesson. No matter the narrative, these stories shape our future. How we remember, interpret, and retell them influences how we feel, the meaning we extract from them, and the lessons we carry forward.

Recently, I had the opportunity to speak at an event. As I prepared my notes, I wanted to weave personal stories connected to the topic. After all, ideas resonate more deeply when anchored in authentic experiences. But as I reflected on my 49 years, I struggled to choose which stories to share. Despite having hundreds or thousands of stories to pull from, I hesitated, wondering if any were “worth telling.”

If I’m being honest, this hesitation stems from my struggles with self-worth. I often find myself dismissing these stories as unimportant. But I’m beginning to realize that each story if shared with sincerity, holds the potential to transform. Just because I might not see the value doesn’t mean others can’t. Each narrative has the power to resonate with someone else in ways I can’t anticipate.

With this awareness, and after completing my 100-day blog project, I realized I needed a new challenge to keep writing consistently. I thrive on a structured goal, so I embarked on a new journey. For the next 30 days, I will share 30 stories from my life—reflecting on what they mean to me now and how they’ve shaped me.

I know this project will be more challenging than my previous one because I’ll be sharing deeply personal parts of who I am. Even as I type these words, I feel a sense of apprehension. Yet, I also know that this process will help me grow in many ways. It will push me to acknowledge the value of my life’s experiences and create a collection of stories I can draw on for future public speaking engagements. More importantly, I hope these reflections will provide valuable insights that can help others on their journeys.

Welcome to this new chapter of my blog: The Stories That Made Me: 30 Moments of Growth and Transformation.

Be well!
